Making pieces individually from scratch is a slow process.
I am limited in the volume of ready to ship pieces I can release in each drop and limited in how quickly I can restock pieces that sell out - sometimes they don’t even make it back onto the website because they’ve sold again.
Offering layaway allows you to secure that piece so you don’t miss out.
Layaway sits really comfortably with the ethos of Aileach Moon. It supports conscious consumerism and brings the focus and energy back to the relationship between maker and client - that part of my making is priceless!

Ready to ship & drops
For ready to ship pieces listed on the website, check the item description to see if layaway is available. Simply click the link to request layaway.
For drops, joining the Priority List is the best way to get first access on pieces in a drop.
Made To Order
The layaway option is always available for made to order pieces, including engagement rings and wedding bands.
Layaway Payment Plan Policy
Aileach Moon offers a layaway payment plan only for selected pieces, made to order, bespoke and personalised items. The layaway option allows clients to pay a deposit and pay the remainder over an agreed period of time, interest free without the involvement of third-party commercial companies. This aligns with Aileach Moon’s support for conscious consumerism and brings the focus and energy back to the relationship between maker and client.
The deposit value and payment schedule in Aileach Moon’s layaway payment plan varies depending on the total order value and is at the discretion of Aileach Moon. Layaway requests will be processed during normal working hours. Aileach Moon will not be liable for any losses where an item has sold out whilst the layaway request was being processed and agreed prior to a deposit being taken.
By paying a deposit for the items described, you are entering into an agreement with Aileach Moon to make further payments as per the agreed schedule. Aileach Moon will hold your items in safe keeping until all agreed payments have been made and will then dispatch your item(s) to the delivery address provided by you. You agree to update Aileach Moon regarding any changes to your contact details and/or address.
The deposit is non-refundable because Aileach Moon undertakes to make, remodel, personalise goods to your specifications or reserve the item for you by removing it from general sale. However, Aileach Moon reserves the right to offer a refund of your deposit in exceptional circumstances where the materials for your piece have not yet been ordered to the studio and/or work has not commenced on your piece or, where a ready to ship item has a waitlist of clients seeking the same item.
This layaway payment plan relates only to the goods specified on the sales order.
Aileach Moon will invoice each payment as it becomes due according to the agreed schedule. You agree to make payment promptly via the payment link within 3 business days. Goods must be paid for in full prior to dispatch or collection.
Aileach Moon must be notified immediately if there is an unforeseen issue with completing a scheduled payment. This will allow for discussion, re-assessment of the schedule and the layaway agreement. Aileach Moon reserves the right to end the agreement where payments are late or incomplete and will notify you by email if such circumstances arise. Goods remain the property of Aileach Moon until payment has been made in full.
